Who can you trust?
Cryptocurrencies have risen in popularity over the past few years. Some have done well, most have not. What are the reasons for this? What makes certain projects profitable and others not? I’m sure that’s a question that all of us within this small community of traders and HODLs would like to know. Many suggest community, many suggest utility – What is the real answer? What level of marketing and involvement from outside entities make a project successful?
We’ve seen in recent times with the collapse of major projects including centralised exchanges that even the biggest VCs within this space can be wrong whilst also being manipulated into promoting and funding projects that have little to nothing under the hood. Furthermore, could celebrities and influencers who influence the masses and others to ape into such projects without doing the minimal research required to assess the validity of claims be the cause of a successful project or its potential demise.
After all what makes us listen to an influencer or a celebrity, it seems that both those with cryptocurrency experience and those that have little to no tech experience can be just as wrong as those who have major experience inside tech.
